My bum has always been a problem area for me! If I put weight on then chances are it will be my hips and my bum. I saw the Slendertone range a while back and didn’t really believe that it would help until one of my friends said that she had tried the Slendertone system abs and highly reccomended it. I decided to do a bit of research and had a look on the net at Slendertone, I soon came accross the bottom toner which sounded perfect for what I wanted so with little hesitation I decided to go ahead and order it.

Much to my suprise it came the next day and I began unpacking it and reading the instructions.

The bottom toner really is something special, it even has a warm up setting so you don’t injure yourself and the intensity ranges from 1 up to 99 meaning you should have no trouble tweaking the intensity to something that suits you. It also lets you choose from 4 different programmes and they have a rating from beginner to advanced which was good.

Over all I found it to be easy to use and most importantly it actually worked! My jeans started to feel looser and I had a distinct change in shape round my bottom, it was definately firmer, more perky and toned! I would definately reccomend this to my friends and could not be more happy with the results!

Slendertone system abs is available for both men and women. It’s Slendertones most powerful abs belt and just like the rest of the range it uses an electrical current to tense your muscles just like you would at the gym by doing sit ups or crunches.

Slendertone system abs is designed to tone up your stomach and give you a flatter, firmer stomach. So does it really work? Well I actually found out and used one of these for the full 4 week programme that Slendertone reccomends! I was impressed by all the claims they make and one that stood out the most for me was:

“20 minutes a day is the same as 120 abdominal crunches”

I was a complete sceptic about this product, but can safely say that I am 100% satisfied with my results. The first time you use the belt it feels really odd and un-natural, for me it just felt bizzare each time my muscles were contracted. It’s definately not painful, just a weird sensation to begin with, however you may soon find that you start to look forward this weird feeling after a couple of days. Now for my usage I used it 5 days each week and took the weekends off, I work Monday to Friday, 9-5 so after a day at work sometimes I’m just too tired (and sometimes admittedly a little too lazy) to go for a long tiring gym session! So each evening I wore the belt I sat infront of the TV and equipped myself with a cup of tea and my Slendertone system abs belt.

After the first 2 weeks there was definately a visible difference, my stomach definately had a much nicer shape to it and felt firmer. By now the sensation had gone from feeling weird to perfectly normal and I was soon used to wearing the belt and being electrocuted for 20 minutes a day.

4 weeks on and it was time to break out the measuring tape and see if there was any real difference. Much to my surpise I had lost 1.5″ off my waist. Woo-Hoo! Now I know that if I had actually gone to the gym as well as using the Slendertone system abs then I would un-doubtedly have lost alot more so I reccomend anyone that uses the belt to also attend the gym a few times for better results!

The conclusion is it’s really a great aid for toning up and getting a firmer and flatter stomach and now the 4 weeks is up I’m still going to carry on using it and hopefully make it to the gym a little more often as well.
